Fastel is used to treat seasonal allergic rhinitis and chronic dermatitis. It is also used temporarily to treat the symptoms of respiratory allergies such as hay fever and others. These symptoms often appear in the form of a runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose or throat, and runny or itchy eyes.
Fastel is also sometimes used to treat the symptoms of a type of idiopathic chronic urticaria.
