About Flutamide Non steroidal antiandrogen, Antineoplastic Agent,in Female hirsutism. Mechanism of Action of Flutamide Drug has a structural similarity to the male hormone testosterone. Thus it binds to the receptors of testosterone present on the prostate cancer cells. This prevents the attachment and action of testosterone on the cancer cells. Due to the absence of testosterone, cancer cells cannot grow and death of it occurs Indications for Flutamide Prostate cancer (metastatic)
